1. Definition of Pre-Crimped Wire Mesh
Pre-crimped wire mesh is a woven wire mesh, which uses wire that is crimped prior to weaving. The opening is normally determined by the size and style of the crimp. Our pre-crimped wire mesh is usually woven with wire diameters ranging from 0.46mm to 12.0mm, and openings ranging from 0.95mm to 250mm.
In terms of material types, pre-crimped wire mesh falls into mild steel wire pre-crimped mesh, galvanized wire pre-crimped mesh, galvanized black high carbon steel wire pre-crimped mesh, black high carbon steel wire pre-crimped mesh, manganese steel crimped wire mesh (Steel grade: 65Mn), stainless steel pre-crimped mesh, wire rod pre-crimped mesh and copper-covered steel pre-crimped mesh.
In terms of its uses, pre-crimped wire mesh falls into quarry and mining screen mesh (wire screen media), pig-raising pre-crimped mesh, barbecue pre-crimped mesh and decorative pre-crimped mesh.
In terms of its styles, pre-crimped wire mesh falls into lump pre-crimped mesh, non-fly end pre-crimped mesh and pre-crimped mesh panel.

2. Production Flow of Pre-Crimped Wire Mesh
(1) Prior to the production of pre-crimped wire mesh, we select the most suitable raw materials in accordance with our customer's requirements and the use of pre-crimped wire mesh, and then deliver the raw materials to our Quality Inspection Section for chemical test and physical test. After testing, those raw materials that have stood the said tests will be delivered to beam-warping workshop, and in this way, our beam-warping process gets under way. In the warp direction, the steel wires in coil are pre-crimped into desired shapes, and a given number of wires will be cut at our preset wire length.
(2) The warp wires are fit on the weaving machine by hand with heald drafting and reed drafting going on. In this way, the preparation work prior to weaving will be completed successfully.
(3) In the weft direction, a set of pre-crimp forming system is used. The system can pre-crimp the weft wires in coil into desired pattern. The pattern specification will be decided by the pressed decorative design sizes on the gear wheel.
(4) After the warp wires and weft wires are fit on the weaving machine, the power supply can be turned on and weaving process begins. The mesh panel length and mesh count are numerically controlled. Once the parameters are set, the right spec of mesh will be produced.(Warp wires are held on cylindrical spools or in coils based on their thickness.)
(5) The woven mesh panels will be sent to our cutting workshop for leveling the mesh panels. In accordance with our customer's requirements, cut them into desired shapes and overall dimensions. Then they will be moved to our cleaning workshop for cleaning and drying purposes. Finally the mesh panels will be handed over to our Quality Inspection Section for quality inspection. The qualified products will be packed properly, and the disqualified products will be thrown away into the cobble area.
